1. Who We Are

Little Geek Academy is operated by Sébastien Ferrand, based in Bangkok, Thailand (179 Witthayu Rd, Lumphini, Bangkok). We are the data controller for information collected through this website and our services. You can reach us at booking.happycademy@gmail.com.

2. What Data We Collect

When you book a lesson or contact us, we collect parent names, child first names and ages, email addresses, and phone numbers. For students with app accounts, we also store lesson history and progress data. We collect anonymised website usage data via Google Analytics. We do not collect payment card details directly.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to schedule lessons, communicate about scheduling and progress, and improve our services through anonymised analytics. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal Basis (PDPA)

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA), we process your data on the basis of contract performance (to deliver the coding lessons you book), legitimate interests (to manage our business and communicate with enrolled families), and consent (for marketing communications and non-essential cookies). You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore) in the asia-south1 region, with appropriate access controls. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS. Contact form submissions are processed by our secure backend.

6. Third-Party Processors

We use Google Firebase for database and authentication, Google Analytics for anonymised website traffic analysis, and Google Cloud Run for our API server. These are provided by Google LLC under their own privacy terms.

7. Children's Privacy

We take children's privacy seriously. We only collect a child's first name and age for lesson scheduling, and only when submitted by a parent or guardian. Leaderboard names use call names (nicknames), never full legal names. We do not knowingly collect data directly from minors.

8. Data Retention

We retain enquiry data for up to 2 years. Student account data is retained while your child is enrolled and for up to 1 year after enrolment ends. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

9. Cookies

This website uses minimal cookies. Google Analytics sets anonymised analytics cookies to help us understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

10. Your Rights

Under the PDPA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal data, and to withdraw consent or object to processing at any time. To exercise these rights, email booking.happycademy@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered families by email before taking effect.
