Common Questions
Everything about the Asoke coding class
Where exactly is the class held?
We meet at True Space Asoke — a short walk from BTS Asoke (Exit 3) and MRT Sukhumvit. The venue is air-conditioned with tables, computers, and chess sets provided.
What do the kids actually learn?
Each session combines Scratch coding (building games, animations, and interactive stories) with chess strategy. Both activities develop the same core skills: logic, problem-solving, and creativity.
What level does my child need to be?
This class is designed for beginners. Your child doesn't need to know how to code — we start from scratch (literally!). A very basic familiarity with chess pieces is helpful but not required.
What age is the class for?
We recommend ages 6–12. Younger children (3–5) tend to do better in our private Coding Critters lessons at home; older or more advanced students may prefer one-on-one coaching.
How much does it cost?
The first class is completely free. After that, each 1.5-hour session costs 4 credits from our credit package system. See the Fees page for package pricing.
What does my child need to bring?
Nothing — we provide laptops, chess boards, pieces, and all materials. Just bring your child and their curiosity!
Is the class taught in Thai or English?
The class is taught in English. Our teacher is happy to provide Thai support for children who need it.
